Running on Empty: Everyday Ways to Fill Your Inner Well
Are you a member of the sandwich generation or a caregiver? Do you
work in a helping profession like teaching, health care, or the
service industry? If so, you are at a greater risk for burnout.

maintaining a healthy life balance. (90 minute workshop)

Balanced
This workshop is specifically geared for the healthcare profession
and focuses on the helping relationship and the pitfalls inherent
in health-related care. Through this workshop you will gain a better
understanding of a) how our individual purpose, goals, & expectations
influence care giving and the team process, b) how, as helpers,
our ambivalence towards our power creates boundary issues for the
team process and ourselves c) the importance of maintaining good
boundaries, d) your current burnout potential, and e) maintaining
compassionate detachment. (90 minute workshop)

The Elephant in the Room: A Conversation about End-of-Life
Woody Allen once said, “I am not afraid of death, I just don't
want to be there when it happens.” Talking about our own death
or the death of our parents makes us baby boomers uncomfortable,
as if we are tempting fate by even thinking and talking about the “D” word.
This workshop provides a safe and supportive place in which to explore
the importance of end-of-life planning to ensure that we or our loved
ones can live our lives to fullest until the very end. (90 minute
workshop)
How Do You Live Your Dash?
Sometimes life seems like a race that never seems to end or slow
down. We get so caught in the business of life and work that there
aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done. Learn
some key life management strategies that will help you run your
life rather than have your life running you. (90 minute workshop)
The Art of Saying “No” – Life
Beyond Being a Guilt Riddled People Pleaser
Are you overworked, overcommitted, and, perhaps, underappreciated?
Do you have a hard time saying “no” to family, friends,
co-workers, your church or the PTA? If you are always putting your
own needs and desires last and are beginning to resent it, this workshop
is for you. You are not alone. Join other “people pleasers” as
we explore how care for others begins with care for self. Learn to
say “no” without guilt or anger.
